Paving S.A Pty Ltd (ACN 636 619 433, ABN 30 636 619 433), trading as Paving SA, lays paving and concrete across Adelaide and South Australia. This policy covers the personal information we collect through our website, pavingsa.com.au, and our online quote request pages, and what we do with it after you send it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
In short
- We collect what you send through our website forms, so we can quote your job or consider you for a role.
- Our website uses Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity to see how people use it and which ads work. Clarity records clicks, scrolls and mouse movement on our pages.
- We don’t sell or rent your information.

What we collect
When you ask for a quote: your first and last name, email, phone number, the address of the property, and whether you want paving, concrete or both.
When you apply for a job on our careers page: your name, email, phone, qualifications, previous employment and resume, and whether you hold a White Card, a driver’s licence and the right to work full time in Australia. Please leave health details and your tax file number out of your resume. We don’t need them at this stage.
When you visit our website: your IP address, device and browser, the pages you view, how you found us, your approximate location, and how you move through the pages. This comes through cookies and similar tools, explained below.
Reviews: if you review us on Google, our website shows that review as it appears on Google.
You don’t need to give us any details to browse our website. We need your contact details and the property address to book a measure and quote.
How we collect it
Directly from you, when you fill in a form on our website. Website visit information is collected automatically by the tools listed under Cookies and website tools.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, book your measure and quote, and prepare your quote. If you go ahead, your details become part of your job record.
- To assess job applications and contact applicants.
- To run and secure our website, and to see which pages and ads bring in enquiries.
- To send you news or offers, but only if you’ve agreed. Every marketing email or text will have an easy way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We only share what each business needs to do its job for us. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Website and form tools: our web host, Vercel (runs our quote request page), Mailgun (sends our form emails), Microsoft 365 (our email) and Wordfence (website security).
- Our business software: the online tools we use to manage enquiries and quotes, such as customer management (CRM) and quoting software, cloud file storage and spreadsheets.
- Analytics and advertising: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads and Fonts), Microsoft (Clarity) and Trustindex (shows our Google reviews).
- Government bodies and regulators, when the law requires it.
Overseas
Our website server is in Australia, and our quote request page runs in Sydney. Some of the businesses above store or process information overseas, most likely in the United States (Google, Microsoft, Mailgun, Vercel, Wordfence and some of our business software) and Hungary (Trustindex).
Cookies and website tools
Cookies are small files your browser stores. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, and our website still works without them.
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages and sources bring enquiries. When you send a form, it records that a form was sent, not what you typed. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out add-on. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- Google Ads: we advertise on Google. Google Ads uses cookies to measure which ads lead to enquiries, and may use them to show our ads to people who have visited our site. You can change the ads Google shows you in My Ad Center.
- Microsoft Clarity: we work with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to see how you use our website, through usage statistics, heatmaps and session replays. These use first- and third-party cookies and similar tools. We use them to find pages that confuse people and fix them. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Trustindex and Google Fonts: to show our reviews and our font, your browser connects to their servers, which see your IP address.
- Wordfence: logs IP addresses and requests to block attacks on the site.
How we store and protect it
Website form entries are stored in our website’s database, on a server in Australia, and emailed to our Microsoft 365 inbox. We then copy enquiries into our customer management and quoting software. Our website uses HTTPS, a firewall and login protection.
We keep your information only while we need it for the reason we collected it, or for as long as the law requires. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we’ll tell you and, where the law requires, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
Contact us using the details below. We’ll answer within 30 days and won’t charge you for asking. We may need to confirm who you are first. If we can’t give you access or make a change, we’ll tell you why.
Children
Our website is for adults arranging paving or concrete work. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we’ll delete them.
Complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your information, contact us first and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the OAIC on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when our practices or the tools we use change, and change the date at the top.
